Jo Ellison

Clinincal and Fitness Pilates Teacher in Pilates Studio Equipment and Pilates Matwork. Jo is also qualified as a Pain Free Movement Specialist.

Jo has been a teacher of movement for over thirty years. After completing a Degree in Dance she worked as a Contemporary Dancer, Choreographer and Dance Teacher in Further and Higher Education.

In 2000 Jo completed a Comprehensive Apprenticeship Pilates Training with the PILATES FOUNDATION. Having taught in a wide variety of settings from Higher Education, the RAD, Pineapple Studios, Health Clubs and Pilates Studios in London including Triyoga and Belsize Pilates Studio, where she was also a Teacher Trainer, she has also run her own Pilates Studios in London and Windsor. For the last 10 years since moving to Ashford Jo has been working in partnership with local Physiotherapists and Osteopaths to enhance clients health and wellbeing .

Lucy Roy

Lucy was first introduced to Pilates during her dance studies at Laine Theatre Arts. She graduated more than 30 years ago and always continued to enjoy participating in Pilates throughout her professional dance and dance teaching career and beyond.

Her passion for Pilates and movement drove her to formally qualify as a Mat Pilates and Reformer Instructor in 2022, to enable her to continue to share her enthusiasm for Pilates.

She has been working with Jo as an Instructor on a part-time basis for the past two years and brings with her a love of working with people and much fun.
